Head of the country’s Crime Portfolio, Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Fitz Bailey, has indicated that the investigations into the death of Stephanie ‘Medikk’ Williams continue.

Skeletal remains believed to be those of the 29-year-old were found in a cane field in Wallen, St. Catherine in February.

Williams had gone missing in August 2023.

In a previous update on the matter, DCP Bailey indicated that the remains found would be compared with DNA samples to verify the identity. 

In a further update yesterday, he noted that investigators are awaiting the results of forensic testing.
