Police seize counterfeit goods valued at more than JMD $100 million in Downtown Kingston
Counterfeit goods with an estimated value of more than JMD $100 million were seized by the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Branch (C-TOC), yesterday, in Downtown Kingston.
The items, imitating Crocs footwear, were seized during an operation on Barry Street, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.
One man was arrested in relation to this seizure.
Reports are that the lawmen were in the area when an establishment was searched.
During the search of the premises, the Crocs footwear, believed to be counterfeit were discovered.
The man, whose identity is being withheld pending further investigations, was arrested.
