Police seize $200M worth of counterfeit goods
Counterfeit goods with an estimated value of 200 million dollars were seized by the police in Downtown Kingston today.
The goods including a variety of clothing and shoes were seized at a business establishment at 24 West Parade.
Head of the CTOC’s Intellectual Property Unit, Assistant Superintendent of Police Victor Barrett said the goods were knock-off, of brands such as Nike and Crocs.
He said one person has been taken into custody in relation to the seizure.
