Police say four-vehicle crash along Dyke Road in Portmore was caused by one of the vehicles overtaking at a corner
Head of the police’s Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, Senior Superintendent Gary McKenzie says last evening’s (August 8) four-vehicle crash along Dyke Road, in Portmore, St. Catherine was as a result of one of the vehicles overtaking at a corner.
Four people were hospitalized following the accident.
They are in stable condition.
Speaking to IRIE FM news this morning, SSP McKenzie said the accident occurred at around 6:50 pm when a Honda Civic motor car overtook another vehicle at a corner.
He is urging motorists to desist from driving recklessly on the roadway.
