The St. Andrew police are probing what is believed to be a case of murder / suicide, in 9 Miles, Bull Bay, last night.

Dead are 25 year old Kadian Blackstock and 50 year old farmer Rohan Edwards, both of Cane River district in 9 Miles.

Reports are that about 11:30 p.m., residents heard strange sounds coming from the home occupied by Blackstock and Edwards and summoned the police.

Officers who responded found Blackstock in the house, lying in a pool of blood.

She had a wound to the neck.

Upon further checks, the cops found Edwards hanging from a tree by a piece of rope around his neck.

Both were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
