Two people were shot and killed along Rainford Road in Hunts Bay, St. Andrew last evening.

Their identities have not yet been released.

Reports from the police are that at about 9:15 P.M, a male and female were standing along the roadway, when they were pounced upon by gunmen who opened fire hitting them.

The wounded persons were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Investigations continue.
