The police are carrying out several operations across St. Mary, as they seek to locate persons who are believed to be criminals who have migrated from other parishes.

Speaking to IRIE FM News this morning, Head of the St. Mary Police Superintendent Anthony Wallace said that operations took place in Charles Town, Baileys Vale, Bellefied and other areas this morning.

He said a number of persons have been arrested and sought to assure citizens that St. Mary will not be a safe haven for criminals.
