Police have identified the man who was shot dead at the Rousseau Primary School on Ricketts Avenue in St. Andrew yesterday. 

He is 55-year-old Gary Leslie otherwise called “Junior” or “Chow”, a taxi operator of York Avenue Kingston 11. 

Reports from the Hunts Bay Police are that at about 3:10 pm, Leslie drove a Toyota Probox motor car onto the school compound to collect his 2 children who attend the institution.

While there, he was approached by gunmen who opened fire hitting him in the head and upper body.

The attackers then fled.

Leslie was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

Lawmen are investigating the incident.
