Police have identified the truck driver who died in a crash in Orange Bay, Portland this morning.

He is 27-year-old Kirk Gooden of Olympic Court Kingston 11. 

Another man sustained injuries in the crash.

Reports are that shortly after 10:00 am Gooden was driving the truck along the roadway with the man as a passenger when he lost control of the vehicle, which overturned on a bar. 

They were taken to hospital, where Gooden was pronounced dead and the other man admitted in stable condition.
