The police have identified four of the 5 people killed in a crash along the East to West toll road / PJ Patterson Highway, in St Catherine, yesterday.

Dead are 40-year-old Derron Johnson, a construction worker of Ocho Rios, St Ann, 49-year-old Marcia Reid of Havendale Kingston, 59-year-old Dinford Gardener of Independence City Portmore, St. Catherine and 54-year-old Sharon Roberts of Comfort District in Williamsfield Manchester.

Reports are that at about 3 PM, a Toyota Hiace bus was being operated as a taxi when on reaching a section of the highway the driver lost control and the vehicle veered into a ditch.

Several occupants including a child sustained injuries and were taken to hospital where 5 of them succumbed.
