Police detain 2 suspects in Clarendon shooting which left 1 dead & 3 wounded; curfew imposed in the community
A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Hayes, Clarendon.
The curfew began at 6:00 PM yesterday and will remain in effect until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 8.
It follows Sunday’s shooting incident in the community, which left one person dead, and three others wounded.
Dead is 31-year-old Daniel Bowens, of Savannah District, Hayes.
Police say swift action led to the arrest of two suspects in relation to the incident.
The suspects were apprehended in a coordinated operation yesterday.
The Clarendon police say the investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and both suspects are being interviewed, with charges expected to be laid against them soon.
