A police constable died from injuries he sustained during a motor vehicle crash in Moneague, St. Ann yesterday. 

He has been identified as 34-year-old Christopher Condappa who was attached to the Moneague Police Station’s Traffic Department. 

Police say Constable Condappa was travelling along the Anglican Main Road aboard a motorcycle when a Suzuki Swift motor car travelling in the opposite direction crashed into him.  

The officer was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
