Police Commissioner urges lawmen to strive for positive interactions with citizens this year
With the new year underway, Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson is urging members of the constabulary to ensure that they strive to have positive interactions with citizens this year.
In recent years, some members of the constabulary and civilians have had contentious interactions.
In 2023, over 1000 complaints were made against members of the security forces, including police officers.
Speaking at the Commissioner’s Annual Devotion this morning, Major General Anderson stressed that citizens are central to the work of the constabulary.
He said quality service is of the utmost importance.
Commissioner Anderson urged officers to ensure that their interactions leave citizens feeling good.
