The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is intellectually equipped to tackle crime and violence, as the organization has one of the highest numbers of individuals with qualifications up to the tertiary level in the region.

Police Commissioner Dr. Kevin Blake made the disclosure during the JCF’s Distinguished MENSA Lecture and Transformation Expo launch this afternoon.

Dr. Blake explained that all qualifications are in disciplines relevant to policing.

He noted that effective policing requires immense brain power, especially in the area of behavioral science.
