Police Commissioner Dr Kevin Blake has challenged members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force to recognize their collective responsibility to strengthen the country.

He said their role and stake in this is significant, indicating that officers’ actions, contribute to the wider national social fabric.

Dr. Blake was speaking at the annual Commissioner’s Devotional Exercise at police headquarters this morning.

He stated that strengthening Jamaica means policing with integrity, fairness and courage.

Strengthening the country was one of three charges given to members by the commissioner for 2026.

He also urged the continued intentional strengthening of each member of the force and the strengthening of bonds.
