Residents of Cherry Tree Lane in Four Paths Clarendon are being assured that the security forces are doing all they can to keep them safe.

This as the presence of police officers and Jamaica Defence Force soldiers has been increased in the area. 

The security forces are seeking to prevent any reprisal attack for Sunday’s mass shooting, which left 8 dead and 9 others wounded.

Commanding Officer for the Clarendon Police Senior Superintendent (SSP) Shane McCalla said teams returned to the community today to conduct social intervention. 

He appealed to persons who have information about the incident to share same with the police.
