Two suspects have been taken into police custody in relation to the killing of a man in Watt Town, St. Ann on Sunday morning.

Dead is 60-year-old Herbert Simms otherwise called ‘Babsy’, a shop owner of the community.

Reports are that a resident went to Simms’ business place to when his body was discovered.

The police were summoned and upon the arrival of the lawmen, he was seen lying on the ground with stab wounds to his neck.

It’s reported that his shop was also ransacked.

Speaking to Irie Fm news head of the St. Ann police, Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell said the suspects were held shortly after the incident.

He said they are expected to be charged soon.
