PNP to hold its Kingston and St Andrew Parish meeting this evening
The People’s National Party will hold its Kingston and St Andrew Parish meeting this evening.
It is slated to begin at 6pm in Cross Roads.
The meeting was originally scheduled for Sunday August 10, but the pnp changed the date to avoid a clash with the Jamaica Labour Party’s mass rally.
During that meeting JLP Leader Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness announced that the general election will be held on September 3.
The PNP says at today’s rally a slate of guest speakers including President Mark Golding will share the party’s plans for the country, and highlight the failures of the government over the last 9 years.
The police say there will be traffic changes in Kingston due to the event.
