PNP to bring case to Constituted Authority in relation to constituency won by Dr. Andrew Holness
The People’s National Party has signalled its intention to bring a case to the constituted authority.
Party President Mark Golding says this relates to alleged irregularities in West Central St Andrew in the September 3 General Election.
West Central St Andrew was contested by leader of the Jamaica Labour Party Dr Andrew Holness and the PNP’s Paul Buchanan.
The constituted authority, comes into effect whenever an election notice is issued.
It oversees the polls and has the ability to halt or void elections where deemed necessary.
Speaking at a press conference today Mr Golding, did not give details about the case, but said the party’s attorneys are handling the matter.
Meantime, the party’s General Secretary Dr Dayton Campbell indicated that information on the issue will come at a later date.
