PNP supporters and members protest local government election and other issues
Members and supporters of the People’s National Party, (PNP), staged another protest against the postponement of the local government elections and other issues affecting the country, on Monday morning.
The protesters gathered in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
One protester said the price of goods in the country are too high and called for a ban on the importation of cannabis.
The party staged a major protest in Cross roads, St Andrew, last week and has promised to take the protests islandwide in the coming weeks.
