The People’s National Party says the murder of Councillor Kenroy Gordon’s brother, in Burnt Ground, Hanover last night, has shaken the party. 

Bruce Gordon was reportedly shot and killed in an alleged robbery. 

The party’s Information Spokesperson, Nekiesha Burchell, described Bruce’s death as a bitter irony. 

She explained that he had been murdered in the same community, in which he had been working with his brother to facilitate power restoration. 

She said the party is calling on the police to act swiftly to bring the perpetrators to justice.
