The Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) says the election debates will confirm to citizens that the party is the better option to govern the country.

The social issues debate, which starts tomorrow, is one of three being hosted by the Jamaica Debates Commission, ahead of the general polls slated for September 3.

The economy and leadership debates are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday.

Speaking with IRIE FM News, Opposition Spokesperson on Information Nekeisha Burchell, says the PNP is confident that the teams selected will represent it well.

Ms. Burchell also notes that tomorrow’s debate will highlight the best of the PNP’s policy.
