President of the opposition People’s National party, Mark Golding says he has reported 2 incidents of vandalism of party campaign material in St. Thomas to the Police Commissioner.
Videos showing campaign paraphernalia being tampered with in sections of the parish have been circulating on social media.
On one of the videos a man is captured taking down orange banners in a community.
Speaking at a PNP meeting in St. James last night, Mr. Golding said he reported 2 incidents to Dr. Kevin Blake.
He also pledged that the PNP will play its part to ensure that the election campaign is a peaceful one.
Meantime, the Jamaica Labour Party has also claimed that campaign materials belonging to member of parliament for St. Thomas Eastern Michelle Charles were also removed in Leith Hall.
The disgruntled MP has accused PNP supporters of removing her campaign material.
She has called on the leadership of the PNP to intervene .
