General Secretary of the People’s National Party (PNP) Dr. Dayton Campbell, is claiming that Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness has not given a date for the upcoming general election because the Jamaica Labour Party Leader knows the JLP will face defeat at the polls.

Dr. Campbell made the statement at a party meeting in St. Ann last evening where he again declared that the PNP is ready to take on the JLP and is confident of victory.

His comments come as both major political parties ramp up their preparations for the upcoming general election, despite no announcement of an election date by dr. Holness.
