Chairman of the People’s National Party Dr. Angela Brown Burke says the party’s mayors and minority leaders will become automatic members of the National Executive Council (NEC).

She said the decision was made at the party’s private session of its 86th annual conference yesterday. 

Speaking today at the public session of the conference, Dr. Brown Burke said the move was validated by the party delegates. 

Dr. Brown Burke told the party supporters that their strong turnout is an indication of what will happen in the next general election.
