PM says investment rate needs to double if Jamaica is to remedy decades of stagnant growth
The country’s investment rate needs to be doubled, if it is to remedy decades of stagnant growth.
That’s according to Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
He made the statement at the ground breaking ceremony for a Sagicor Commercial Complex at Bernard Lodge, in St. Catherine.
The Prime Minister said investments like the ones made by Sagicor must be done 10 more times.
He said the average man on the street must understand that before his financial problems can be fixed, the economy must do well.
