Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness has noted that the process of infrastructure development in Jamaica is complex.
He said it requires of the Government to ensure that equity is maintained, as persons clamour for roads and schools to be fixed at once.
Dr. Holness added that the issue of property rights adds to the development conundrum in the country.
He explained that the state has to figure out how it ensures individuals can get access to property, while ensuring that there is a framework to protect those rights.
Dr. Holness said the Government must also ensure that properties are protected from criminals.
He was speaking at a land titling ceremony in St. Andrew today.
