PM Holness says new straddle fleet at Kingston Freeport will boost employment opportunities
Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the new straddle fleet which was commissioned into service on Thursday at the Kingston Freeport Terminal, will boost employment opportunities for Jamaicans.
Mr Holness pointed out that since 2016, over 200 new workers have been employed at the Freeport Terminal.
He said the new straddle carriers represent a positive development for the country.
Mr Holness noted that the employment numbers should remove the notion that the public does not benefit, from public-private partnerships.
