Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the government will be placing special focus on Westmoreland, to ensure  economic transformation and infrastructure development. 

Mr. Holness made the statement during the handing over of a unit under the New Social Housing Programme, yesterday. 

The Prime Minister noted that this special focus will be placed on areas such as Negril, and sectors such as agriculture, health and tourism.

Mr. Holness said he will outline details of the plan during his budget presentation in Parliament.
