PM Holness says Government will soon rollout programme to address domestic violence across the country
The Government will soon rollout a programme to address domestic violence across the country.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness made the revelation while speaking with the head of the St. Mary police, Superintendent Bobette Morgan Simpson at the weekend.
The Superintendent indicated that the parish, like several others, has had multiple domestic violence incidents, including several, where men are the victims.
In response, the Prime Minister noted that his administration is now focused on organized crime, but a strategy will be laid out to target other forms of violence, including domestic.
