PM Holness says citizens feeling safe enough to leave windows and doors open, remains a primary objective of JLP administration
Citizens being able to feel safe enough to leave windows and doors open, remains a primary objective of the Jamaica Labour Party administration.
JLP Leader Prime Minister, Dr. Andrew Holness highlighted the promise, while addressing party supporters in St. Mary yesterday.
The open windows and doors promise was a crucial part of the JLP’s campaign in past elections and has been used by the opposition People’s National Party to chastise the JLP government because this has not been achieved.
Dr. Holness outlined the gains made by the police force in recent years with crime reduction, especially murder.
The Prime Minister said the overall objective is to have a peaceful country.
He said citizens would benefit from cost savings in a peaceful country.
