PM Holness agrees with suggestions for homes to have a safe room, especially in the event of a hurricane
Prime Minister Andrew Holness has indicated his agreement with a suggestion for homes to have a safe room, especially in the event of a hurricane or other natural disasters.
Speaking in Parliament yesterday, Mr. Holness referred to Hurricane Beryl which devastated several houses last year.
He also announced a multi-million dollar allocation to assist homeowners in preparing for storms in the upcoming hurricane season.
Mr. Holness noted that a safe room would provide greater security.
