PM announces plans to reform NWA to aid in proper road management
Jamaica Labour Party Leader, Prime Minister, Andrew Holness has announced plans to reform the National Works Agency (NWA) to ensure a better system for managing and maintaining roads, after they have been repaired.
He made the announcement while addressing party supporters during a nomination rally in the Aenon Town Division in Clarendon, on Wednesday.
Citing the poor state of some of the roads in the division, Mr. Holness said, in a bid to create a more efficient approach to infrastructure and proper oversight of road maintenance, reforming the NWA is important.
Mr. Holness said steps will be taken to ensure proper road management.
The Prime Minister also assured residents of Aenon Town that steps will be taken to fix damaged roads in the area.
