The Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) is reporting an estimated economic growth of 1.9 per cent for the October to December period in 2023.

PIOJ’s Director General, Dr. Wayne Henry made the disclosure during a quarterly press conference that is now underway.

He explained that the 1.9 per cent growth resulted in higher levels of employment to meet the demand in several sectors.
