PIOJ says tourism continued to perform well in the 3rd quarter of 2022
The tourism industry continued to perform well in the third quarter of this year.
This is according to Director General of the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ), Dr. Wayne Henry, who gave an update on the sector during the institute’s quarterly press briefing.
Dr. Henry noted that stopover visitor arrivals for July to August this year, increased by 42%.
He added that August was a record-breaking month in terms of arrivals.
