Philadelphia unveiled as the last of the four host cities for 2025 Grand Slam Track series

Philadelphia has been unveiled as the last of the four host cities for recently launched Grand Slam Track series.

This comes on the heels of Mondays announcement by CEO and founder, Olympic 200 meters and 400 metre champion Michael  Johnson, that the National Stadium in Kingston will be site of the opening event next April.

This brings to a close the naming of the host cities with Miami and Los Angeles already confirmed.

The Philadelphia Slam which is the third and penultimate event of the four-meet series is slated to take place from may 30 to june one.

The lucrative Grand Slam track series carries a total purse of us 12.6 million dollars and will feature 96 of the best athletes competing for huge prizes. 

The winner of each individual event will pocket US $100,000 dollars with $50,000 going to the second place finisher and $30,000 allocated to the athlete in third.

Ackera Nugent, Rushell Clayton and Roshawn Clarke are the Jamaicans confirmed thus far to take part in the inaugural season.
