Partial funding for Johnson Smith’s secretary general campaign came from Grace Kennedy and Musson Group – Morgan
The government has revealed, that partial funding, for Senator Kamina Johnson Smith’s campaign, for the post of Commonwealth Secretary General, came from local private sector companies, such as Grace Kennedy and Musson Group.
Information Minister, Robert Morgan, made the revelation, while responding, on the prime minister”s behalf, to questions from the opposition, in parliament on Tuesday.
These contributions amounted to US$99,000 and were paid to public relations entity, Finn Partners.
The opposition members were not satisfied with the responses, and called for more detailed explanations about the contributors who paid for Mrs Johnson Smith’s campaign.
Mr Morgan said he had no further information.
