Over eight thousand (8000) residents of Whitehall and surrounding communities in St. Elizabeth will benefit from the Whitehall to New Market Water Supply project. 

Currently, most residents rely on harvested rainwater for domestic use.

Speaking during the ground breaking ceremony for the project yesterday Mr. Holness said the National Water Commission NWC, will soon be able to provide reliable potable water to customers. 

Mr. Holness said the project is a major step towards improving water access and quality of life for residents.
