Opposition says lack of working motor vehicles at several police stations negatively impacting ability of officers to carry out their duties
The lack of working motor vehicles at several of the island’s police stations is negatively impacting the ability of officers to carry out their duties.
This, according to Opposition Spokesman on National Security Peter Bunting.
Speaking at the 81st annual joint central conferences of the Jamaica Police Federation, Mr. Bunting noted that many police stations have only one vehicle.
He said this situation is not ideal.
Mr. Bunting called for the issue to be addressed in an effort to improve basic policing.
