Opposition criticizes gov’t’s execution of census
Opposition Spokesperson on Finance Julian Robinson says a credible plan is needed for the effective execution and completion of the census.
He was making his contribution to the Budget Debate in Parliament, yesterday.
Noting numerous delays in the undertaking and completion of the census, Mr. Robinson claims that fewer than 1 million people have been counted so far.
He said despite the government’s explanation, it has failed in executing the project.
Mr. Robinson also noted that concerns raised by census workers should be addressed.
