Opposition Spokesman on Finance, Julian Robinson is calling on the country’s financial institutions to ensure their Automated Teller Machines, ATMs are working and equipped with cash as the Christmas season approaches.

This following numerous complaints from banking customers that they have to travel from location to location, to identify functioning atms.

In recent times, some cash courier companies and banks have made changes to their operations, following targeted criminal attacks such as robberies.

Mr. Robinson, while acknowledging the negative role crime and vandalism has played in reducing the amount of available ATMs, says customers should not be inconvenienced.
