Operations at the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) remain suspended today, as safety assessments continue for staff and assets.

This following the passage of Category 5 Hurricane Melissa.

Providing an update to IRIE FM News, JUTC’s Corporate Communications Manager, Shantole Thompson, said services may resume tomorrow.

She noted, however, that the resumption may be phased.
