Only 10 of the over 600 roadways impacted by Hurricane Beryl remain blocked
Approximately 10 of the over 600 roadways impacted by Hurricane Beryl remain blocked.
The latest report provided by the National Works Agency (NWA) states that 497 roadways have been restored to two-lane access, while 98 have access to single-lane.
Roads remain blocked in St. Thomas, St. James, Trelawny, Hanover, Manchester, Kingston and St. Andrew.
Communications Manager at the National Works Agency Stephen Shaw said most of the roads that are still blocked are parochial roads.
He said the NWA is unable to say when all the roads will be reopened.
