One of St Catherine South’s most wanted men was fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with the police, in Riverdale in the parish, last night (December 9).

Dead is 32-year-old Barrington Campbell, otherwise called Coolie of Central Village, St Catherine.

A police officer was shot and wounded during the incident, which occurred at about 11 PM.

Police say a firearm was also seized.
