Olympic  champion  Hansle  Parchment  and  World  Champion  Danielle  Williams  head  the  Jamaicans  confirmed  for  the   blockbuster start to the Wanda Diamond League season in Xiamen, China, on April 20.

Parchment  will  take   take on World Championships bronze medallist Daniel Roberts of USA  in  the  men’s  110  metres  hurdles. 

Williams  will  line-up  in  the  women’s  100  metres  which   will feature a riveting showdown between reigning olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico and  eugene  world  champion   Tobi Amusan of Nigeria  as  well  as  newly  minted  World  Indoor  record  holder  Devynne Charlton  of  the  Bahamas.

Jamaica  and  the USA   will  come  face  to  face  in  the  mens  100  metres………….Jamaica  will  be  represented  by  2011  world  champion  Yohan  Blake, world championships  relay  bronze  medallist   Ackeem  Blake and  national  champion  Rohan  Watson  while  the  USA  has   former world 100 metre  champions Fred Kerley and Christian Coleman.

World  100  metre  champion  Sha’carrie  Richardson  is  also  on  the  entry  list  to  run  in  the  women’s  200  metres. 

In  the  meantime  world  record  holders  Faith Kipyegon and Mondo Duplantis  who are the number-one-ranked female and male athletes across all event groups – are among   an  overall  12 Olympic Gold medallists and 27 world champions who will   be  in  action  on  the  night.
