Ocho Rios cruise port in St. Ann welcomes over 30,000 visitors since reopening last week
Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett said 32,000 cruise passengers have arrived at the Ocho Rios port in St. Ann since its reopening on November 11 .
The port was closed in February 2024 after strong winds slammed a docked cruise ship into the pier causing severe structural damage.
Speaking during a tour of hotels and attractions in the resort town yesterday, the minister said 8 more cruise ship visits are expected next week.
He said this would push arrivals to the port to 64,000 passengers in 2 weeks.
