NWC wants revenue collection from customers’ monthly payments to be increased to at least 95 per cent
President of the National Water Commission, Mark Barnett says the Commission wants revenue collection from customers’ monthly payments to be increased to at least 95 per cent.
Mr Barnett explains that due to delinquent customers, the Commission is losing out on approximately 15 per cent of its expected revenue each month.
The Commission has been conducting disconnection drives across the country to combat the illegal use of its water services and to regain some of the lost funds.
Mr Barnett who was responding to questions at a Post-Cabinet press briefing this morning (April 26) said for the Commission to continue providing its service at the highest standard, it must recover monies owed.
