NWC says it is working to resolve water supply issues in Hanover
As frustration heightens over water issues in Hanover, the National Water Commission (NWC) says it remains committed to ensuring that the commodity is supplied, every week.
The water woes in the parish have been a sore point for residents and stakeholders, for some time.
The situation has prompted the opposition to join calls for the government to implement effective measures to address the issue.
Responding to the residents’ pleas, the NWC said it has been working to maintain regulated supply, to the various areas.
The water company noted that it will seek to investigate and urgently resolve matters, especially if there are unregistered or unreported areas that are adversely affected.
The NWC also reminded residents that arrangements are in place to have water trucked to areas that cannot be supplied by piped water.
Customers are being urged to call the NWC to schedule deliveries, if they have not received trucked water.
