NWA says it has no report of major roadway being blocked following Beryl
The National Works Agency (NWA), has indicated that it has no report of major roadway being blocked since the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
NWA Communications Manager Stephen Shaw pointed out that it’s possible that some parochial roads, for which the NWA does not have responsibility, may still be in an impassable state.
Parochial roads fall under the jurisdiction of the local authorities, or municipal corporations, in the Ministry of Local Government.
Mr. Shaw said the only roadway he is aware of, that may still have issues due to a break away, is in St Catherine.
