NRSC expresses optimism that country will see major reduction in road deaths this year
The National Road Safety Council (NRSC) has expressed optimism that the country will see a major reduction in road fatalities this year.
This, as it notes that only 2 people were killed in motor vehicle crashes in the first week of 2024.
Vice chair of the NRSC Dr. Lucien Jones says the data has so far been encouraging.
Dr Jones is hopeful, that this trend will continue for the rest of the year.
Preliminary data for 2023 indicate that 425 people died in motor vehicle crashes for the year.
